Geexx...much as i didnt want to be like von, i'm acting pretty much e same. It seems like we just sub-consciously become or behave like the people we often mix with. So what am i becoming like? Well, too defensive in when relating what i feel. Insisting my way through to prove that i'm right and getting real worked up when people deemed my point as wrong. Well, there's always points where one is wrong and i agreed to that too. But, somehow, i got too caught up in e situation that i totally immersed in it and gotten real fed up when i cant get my point across to e other party and convince him/her of cos.
Strange isnt it? That's how i analyse von to be.
But then, there are times i couldnt care less. Like when i gave a suggestion once and he immediately challenged e degree of feasibility of it. Well, probably it isnt 100%, but there isnt much to argue about anyway. Cos it's just a suggestion of e placement of items. So if you would have prefer it that way, so be it. I'm just stating a point of how i would have put it as i found that appealed to me more.
As for 1408. I guess stephen king did a splendid job. Not sure if e movie followed e novel exactly, but besides e part that it got a little too far fetch towards e middle. The whole setting is great. Like typical movies, it played a lot with the physological part of us. I really like flicks like that. Playing with our minds rather than using pure booS to scare us. Pure booS as in some monster popping out suddenly.
But as usual, my fear got better of me. It's like before it even happened, i guess it might be this and that and decided to shift my eyes elsewhere. But e part on e lead holding kathy and seeing her suddenly smashing into pieces, into nothing more than a poo of dust is unexpected.
Unexpectedly, despite it being a horror flick, it tried to knock some sense into us. So, i guess that evil thingy aint that sinister after all. Cos at least it made e lead ponder about all that he had done. Blaming his wife when things happened. Acting real bad towards his dad and leaving his wife to e baby while he goes to get a pack of cigerattes.
With so many of these flicks coming up. Sometimes i really think hard into life. What are we striving so hard for in life? Sometimes insisting on things that doesnt really matter also.
Many a time, i see myself and many others talking bad of other people. Similar to bullying, it seems a form of thrill i guess to put one down. Though these ramblings do not affect that person directly as bullying does, but it's still bad in a way.
Frankly, what do we gained from bad-mouthing others? Nothing much besides probably getting a chuckle on how silly that person is.
ok, i've left my noodles unattended for quite some time, time for some munching. .
