Its been hard, its been tough, but we've made it!!!
Oh well, we didnt make it to e real summit, but who cares? I guess we'll seen e niceest view up there and to me that's pretty sufficient. haha. at least i made it to next highest point i think. (initally thought of giving up and staying halfway with sl, but decided to climb all e way eventually.) Definitely glad i did, cos the view is simply awesome as well.
The view up those mountains is just so nice lor...hahaha. Imagine LOTR. .
Oh yaa....forgot to mention i was off trekking in indonesia, at an island called lombok. Rijani is the name of the volcano i think. First time trekking at such a high altitude and i was left breathless. Eager to trek fast, i found myself out of breaths. The way up on the first day was maddening tiring but the scenary was maddening beautiful. Despite bringing along my thermal wear, i left it in another bag and was left utterly unprepared to face the harsh weather. Obviously i underestimated the terrain and over-packed ..resulting in a really heavy bag. So much that so that i even had to have lessy carry for me. *grins* Lessy...obviously that wasnt his name, but its funny if you know what i'm laughing at. . Cos Lessy is e name of a dog they somehow came name it as and lessy can also be related to someone else. Overall, the terrain is super steep, so steep that one can literally go tumbling down if one dont watch it. To run down or to steadily tread the way down, each have their style.
The terrain is damn dusty. Dusts just flew up when one steps slightlly harder on the ground. As i was often out of breaths, i used my mouth instead to breathe. Geezz...no wonder my throat was gone so fast.
Bali
its maddening beautiful too. But too bad we only spend a day and a half there. Thanks to Ma-de for droving us around, we managed to go to some of the niceest pplaces at bali. I cant believe that i couldnt even recall e name of the places i've been to. Hehe, i searched on the internet and these are the places:
Dreamland Beach
is a beach located on the Bukit peninsula, on the island of Bali, Indonesia. It is located at 08°47′58″S, 115°07′04″E. The beach provides basic accommodation and cafes for surfers and day trippers. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island, it is also renowned for its dangerous shorebreak. It is the site of the failed Pectau Graha development, planned by Tommy Suharto, the corrupt youngest son of the former president Suharto.
Uluwatu temple
At the western most tip of Bukit Peninsula, this is of one bali’s nine “directional” Kayangan Jagat Temples. The location is dramatic, perched on the edge of a high cliff with a picturesque sunset view. The temple was first used for worship by the holy 11th century priest, Empu Kuturan, who came to Bali to bring religious law and to form Desa Adat (traditional villages). Filled with the scent of frangipani blossoms and is also the home of friendly monkeys.
Tanah Lot
k, we went there for sunset, but it wasnt nice to me, at least.
Back to the harsh reality once again.. *sulk*
