Stairway to heaven

Started watching a new series yesterday. To be precise, on late friday night. I reckon i caught 3 + plus episodes till almost 6am. Thats when i suddenly found myself falling asleep on e chair. The last thing i can remember was i was preparing e bed before i dozed off. Hmmm, it isnt really new considering that it has probably finished on the local tv. But, hearing on how great it is, i decided to take a peek. Well, it got me hooked. Stairway to heaven is its english-translated name.

Its interesting to know that its one of e shows that got me crying almost every episode since . Though before i actually sat down and watched this show, everyone was telling me how lousy Han Tae-hwa was. Though cruel, he still decided not to lie his way through when he finished that wall painting and decided to tell Han Jung-suh/Kim Ji-su about it. For that, we can see he is not rotten to e extreme and i admire his honesty in e end. The thing i remembered he said was, he thought by keeping Jung-suh by his side, he would achieve happiness. It does not matter if he gets into hell by doing that, at least he has her by his side. But, he was enjoying the bliss happiness while feeling tortured too.

As for Jung-suh, she's just far too kind, thoughtful and pitiful. Who would have guessed that idiotic step-mum of hers was putting up an act in liking her. The worst thing of all is that she decided to put up with all e abuse so that her dad would continue to be in his new-found happiness. To think that she didnt even fight back when Yuri treated her so badly. If it was me, i would have slapped her upside down. It even puzzles me more when she regained her memory, but didnt told Cha Song-ju that she is actually Jun-suh. What's holding her back really?

AS for Cha Song-ju, i guess i remember his characteristic mischivious wink. It really fustrating how he couldnt simply forget Jun-suh, yet still decides to have an engagement with Yuri. What e heck is he thinking. I wont know, cos i'm only halfway through. But, i'm glad for his persistance in Jung-suh though.

Overall, i really like this drama. Though there are real mean characters who fakes their way through things all e time and i really hate them for it! I cant really remember if other korean shows are like this, in e sense everyone just kept crying and crying. It isnt those loud Boo-hoOs, but those silent ones with tearing flowing non-stop. The amount of sorrow that is within ..., that one experiences.

Hmnmm, this show has really rekindles my lovc for korean drama!~ *grins* I have decided to slow down my pace in this show, least i cant remember it in e days to come when i'm done with e show. Though i'm really eager to see how things would turn out, but i guess its worth e wait. But, its a amazing feat considering i managed to finished about 9 episodes in a day. Geez....

As for the music/songs in this show, without a doubt, they're excellent. Keke, guess my ears would suffer from numerous repeats of these tracks in e days to come. Its amazing how e visual effects and the outcome of hearing numerous times can do to a person. One can grow from feeling nothing to them to liking them to a huge extent and having those tracks repeatedly playing in e head! One of e tracks is by chopin. Of course, its e music that Cha Song-Ju played on e piano. Hmmm, i never knew Chopin produced such nice pieces, no wonder Jay Chow has named his latest album after him. Well, i only realised today who 萧邦 was.
