Today is tuesday and i thought i saw clouds..
Geek..just saw wg's blog and was reminded about Harry Potter's new book... the half-blood prince or something. There's a poll there and 70% of e people in sg dont read harry potter, while e rest does. Seriously, what's all this craze about? I can understand if e kids are crazy over it, but adults too? Hmm, are e books meant for kids or adults? A colleague of mine read it too. In fact, it took her 6 hours to complete it. I'm amazed at her sheer speed in completing it and doubted e plot that supposely got so many hooked. When questioned which age group was e novel for, all she said was that as e series proceeds, e story becomes more "dark". As i was on e train just now, i spotted a guy reading it. Hmm, this is e new craze that's hitting town recently? For me, i rather stick to my novels.. Those down-to-earth realistic storylines. Harry potter? I'm pretty much fine with just catching e movies alone. Hee, just like naruto. I rather face colourful animation with great music packed into it, rather than black and white prints. The anime might be much slower, but, its definitely worth e wait, though e suspense is killing me.
There's so much things i wanted to do, yet so little time after work. Didnt want to on e computer today, least it zap up all my time, but i did again. Sigh. Was multi-tasking just now. Haah, half reading High meadow and half watching tv. I've halfway through e book, hurray!
There's a typhoon in taiwan yesterday. Messaged mel just now, glad to know she's back safe and sound. She asked why xh didnt turned up for my big day. *Shrugs* Somehow, i told xh before, and she didnt said anything as my big day drew near and somehow, i pressume she's not coming. I dunno why i came up with that conclusion. Strangely, none of us mentioned this. I wondered if they're back from Bangkok. Sheesh...if only i went too. But, seriously, i guessed i wasnt too sore about not being able to go. After all, i guessed e past two days were pretty well-spent.
Today was kinda a mental challenge for me. Fancy climbing so high up. The sheer thought of it gives me shivers. When i'm steadily up there, nothing fears me, but as i ascend upwards, e thought that i'm so high up and might just slip and fall makes me scared. In addition, e wind thats blowing so strongly on me, adds on to e fear intensity. But, i'm glad i made it to e top. Well, i guess life is all about accepting challenges. If i dont reach up there, i'll never know what's its like. I guess, e worst thing in life, is not knowing how things would be like if you've never taken that step. So, if there isnt adverse effects, why not?
Every choice we make in our life results in consequences, however slight they might be.... they're like e ripples in e pond.
