Finally caught Hitchhiker's Guide To e Galaxy!! my verdict? Thumbs up!! ermm, not sure how many though, it wasnt so funny that i was giggling away, but it got my full attention during e entire movie.
Not sure about e lead's name, let's just call him Mike, woke up one day to realise his house is gonna be demolished, and so is earth! Then, his alien friend came by and save him. But, remember, to bring e towel with you always! Besides being able to shoo away those Von Von (ermm, whatever you call those geeks...), why do we have to keep carrying it for?
But, its really absurd, just e way i like it. Hee, e galaxy's president is a good one too.. always giving that smile which he thinks is so charming, and a wink..Reminds me of Austin powers..simply hilarious.
But, half e time, i didnt really catch those jokes, but xl was saying, who cares?! We dont have to be so serious about this. Oh ya, that bit on e ah choo and hankerchief religion, hmm, seems so familiar, hahah, making fun of some religion we're so familiar with? The opening is corny too, what dolphins saying bye bye to us cos they know earth is coming to an end, then, comes a song on it. Its like those indian movie where they happen to come to this topic, and suddenly 30 odd dancers comes running out and started dancing away. Talking about what?! and what?! *Grins*
Oh ya, that bit on e Von Von reciting poems too, kekehehee..
Cant believe i have this book right smack in e cupboard since i was young. Kor has told me its "an hard to understand" kinda book, and whenever i came across this book, this idea surfaces in my mind. To think when i told him about it, he said he never said it before. To think that all because of a comment, i did not even bother scan through e book at all. Hmm, how strangely kor has influence my life in many little little ways, but he claims having not done anything. .
Zzzz....time for bed.
