Tonight's rain is real strange. All of the sudden, there was a heavy downpour. Was one of the most heavy ones i've seen in ages. I was offered a ride, but after the car travelled for 10 secs? There was a single drop of rain in the new location.
Its like those comics we used to see, of a tiny cloud just above that person, once you moved out of it, TadAaaa.. there goes the rain. But today's rain was real scary, real heavy at one moment, den slight dizzling the next. What a drastic change. But, when the heavypour occured, that's when i had to alight from the bus and started walking to another bus stop to switch bus. Felt kinda scary somehow, as though the world is come to an end, and the whole place is deserted. No people nor cars.
Before that, i witnessed this spectacular procession. Guess is an temple procession. Initally, i thot it was Chu Bin.. cos at one portion, i heard this banging of the `luo and the rythm is so familiar. But, then, lotsa and lotsa things came on and one. I reckon that from the point the first and last man cross the same spot, the time taken was about 5 mins. Can imagine how long the procession is. Some were beautifully decorated vehicles with losta flourcent blue, green , pink tubes. Its kinda like chingy. There's also these people who pose as heavenly deities. The begining was nice too. Dance Lions performing stunts on the vehicle for everyone to see.
Tired .....Zzzz
-Continued- sunday 5pm
The procession is simply amazing. When, how many times in a lifetime can we get to see that? Hmm, few times? Though i tried to remain nonchalant, but i cant after sometime, and started snapping away using my mobile phone. Geesh..just find it amazing. The number of people involved, the number of people following with joshsticks in their hands and the amount of money dumped in employing the performers, decorating the vehicles etc etc.
